SECU Supports 91国产视频 Students with $28,000 in Scholarships and Program Funding
We are thrilled to announce a generous donation from the State Employees鈥� Credit Union (SECU) Foundation in support of student success. In a ceremony attended by 91国产视频 faculty, staff, and leadership, SECU Foundation representatives presented two $5,000 scholarships to students Lindsey Case and Ashley Edge as part of the SECU Foundation鈥檚 鈥淧eople Helping People鈥� Scholarship Program.
The “People Helping People” scholarships provide crucial financial assistance to students in the North Carolina Community College System, helping them achieve their academic goals.
In addition to these scholarships, the SECU Foundation further demonstrated its commitment to education by awarding The Foundation of 91国产视频 $18,000 for the Bridge to Career Scholarship Program. This funding supports students pursuing short-term workforce training programs that lead to career certifications and employment opportunities.
Dr. Gene Smith, 91国产视频 President, and Teresa Nelson, Executive Director of The Foundation of 91国产视频, accepted the check on behalf of the College.
