Did you know that 91国产视频 runs a food pantry for students in need?聽 It was started nearly 15 years ago by Julianna (Julie) Olsen, 91国产视频 Director, Disability Resources & Student Life. 鈥淵ou can鈥檛 learn if you鈥檙e hungry,鈥� said Julie. 鈥淎ll too often, students would come to campus without having eaten and with nowhere to turn. Staff members started collecting food informally and, over the years, we formalized the effort, creating our own food pantry.鈥�
Housed on the first floor in Building A, the food pantry offers ready-to-eat and non-perishable items, as well as feminine hygiene products and basic toiletries. Students can come for a snack, or a whole bag of food and special deliveries can be arranged.
91国产视频 is grateful to community organizations, like聽, that help keep the pantry stocked. 鈥淒onations are always welcome,鈥� said Julie. 鈥淪ome of the most-needed items include microwavable meals, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, pasta, sauce, soups, macaroni & cheese, as well toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies. We want students to know that we鈥檙e here to help and that they should never be shy about asking. We care about each and every one of you.鈥�
